0055 - Not much today :/
I don't have much to say today, cuz there wasn't anything happened that is worth mentioning.
Anyway I just booked tickets for Megamind, 7:15pm at AMK Hub. I bet the movie's gonna be good! I think this is the first time that the villain is the main lead in a movie (Like finally?), new twists expected!
I will be a kind little angel here and give you some introductions about this movie! Megamind is an animated(obviously) supervillain(even more obvious) comedy(obvious of the obviouses!) film by DreamWorks Animation! It is released in both 3D and 2D.
Anyway, Megamind is a suuuuuper-intelligent alien (I'm sure all of you already know that) who is sent to Earth when his planet is in danger or something..sort of. However, like most typical shows, he lands in some other place all thanks to another baby alien (Who ended up being Metro Man, lol makes me think of the departmental store, Metro.) who is on his way to earth as well. Such coincidence huh?Blah blah blah, raised to be evil together with a funny fish friend(Or sidekick, rather), called Minion.
So Megamind and Metro Man became rivals, and Megamind is always kenna defeated(Aiya always liddat one la). Then one day finally defeats Metro Man, then Meagamind grows depressed (Cuz no more nemesis, very sian), so he decides to create a new superhero using Metro Man's DNA!! ....I think??Ok so something happens and he accidentally creates another superhero called Tighten (Or Titan?) who eventaully becomes a villain. Which for some reason forces Megamind to become the Superhero instead. Save some people's ass and fwala! Becomes a savior. The end.
Anyway I got to go now. Might have updates after I have watched the movie. :)
P.S. I think Metro Man is damn ugly. Megamind look way more handsome than him.

Ok as promised, some updates. Overall the movie was great. I love the romance, though it is a bit cliché. Megamind fell in love with Roxanne and dated her disguised as Bernard. somehow Roxanne found out the identity of Megamind, and dumped him. That part was sad.
Anyway this is not a tragic film, it's a comedy so some parts are rather funny and most parts just make you smile. It may not be as funny as it claims to be, so you won't find yourself drowning in tears of laughter.
Megamind is not a must-watch movie, but it's still worth your money, you feel your money wasted on this movie. It's kinda stuck in the middle, watching it or not doesnt matter. Megamind has an average rating of about 6.6 out of 10. If you look at the ratings, it's not really that great but they have a team of strong voice cast (Like Will Farrell and Brad Pitt) and strong visuals that make this movie worth your money.
Megamind grossed slightly more than How to Train Your Dragon and is ranked just forth just behind Despicable Me for animated film.
Oh, to fans of MJ out there, "Bad" was used in the movie. "A Little Less Conversation" by Elvis had also made itself heard.

0054 - Oooo (I'm running out of titles aready)
Ok so last post I covered 3 days worth of delicious spicy hot updates! Today I shall update just a little bit (There's not much to tell anyway...).
Hmm...let's see, work work work as usual. I was told that I have to go back to school yesterday to attend a briefing regarding the Suzhou overseas trip in December. So I decided that I should meet Waltie in school for dinner since he will be staying in school for choir practice anyway.
Cheng cheng cheng!! I reached school at around 6pm! In case (Which is rather impossible if you are my age) you don't know how NYP's logo looks like, there's one for you to admire!Back to main topic! The briefing was at 7pm so I have 1 hour to eat! Yay! So I went to McDonald's, was craving it though I know they are extremely unhealthy!!
Anyway Waltie was slow because he was watching Ju-On before he came down from class. So I decided to order and eat while I wait since he said he's not eating.
Big Mac! Nom nom nom!! I like fries with ketchup. :P Yum yum!
You know what the bloody hell he said?! He said I look a lot like Ju-On! Oh please! How can someone as cute as me look like Ju-On?! Psh! Look at the comparison below, totally no resemblance at all!!
Anyway, after eating I went out to school with him because he wants to smoke (Smoke smoke smoke!). Then he dig dig dig his bag but cannot find his packet of cigarettes, turns out Jia Lei hid it in class. Wahaha!! Good job!
Ok then after that went for the briefing, blah blah blah, whatever. Then after the briefing I accompany Hao Wen go eat, she said I'm the most good-looking guy in class, wahahaha!! You know why? It's cuz all other guys in the class are totally cui!! So I'm the least cui one, that's all.
Then went to north canteen to wait for Waltie to finish his choir practice.
He was hungry after practice so I accompany him to eat something before we go back home. Yup he ate prata! Nom nom! I think he ordered 2 plain and 1 egg, don't remember. :P
Do you know prata is actually very fattening because of the flour and how unbelievably oily they are? Omg, and don't forget about the curry too! Ideal diet to weight-gaining!
I ordered tomato juice. Wa lao, it's $3 lor!! Damn expensive! Of course the tomato juice I ordered doesn't look like this la, this one is those kind of packet ones.
Oh! Talking about fruit juices Waltie told me that some canned fruits are actually much healthier (I'm shocked too!) than the actual fruit itself! This is cuz canned fruits are prepared and canned when the fruits are at their optimum freshness (This makes sense). While the actual fruits are harvested when they are still unripen (Or unriped? Aiya I don't know la!), they are ripen only during transportation using artificial ripeners (Uh oh, sounds dark!), and don't forget they still have to go through distributors, retailers, etc before the fruits get to you!
However a lot of canned fruits out there are soaked in concentrated syrup, so...it's still not that healthy I guess...:/
Anyway after dinpper (Dinner + supper :P Ya I know it's lame, I don't need you to tell me that!), I walked Waltie to the bus interchange. On our way there I mentioned to him about his smoking habits. I reminded him that he promised me on his first day of school that he will cut down on those blasted sticks, but last night was the 4th week already and I still see no improvements! Nevermind! He said he will start when he's in New York next month. Ok I believe you. :)
Ok, that aside, we were (I don't know how we came to this topic also) talking about certain status update he posted a few days back. Please refer to figure 63.6 below for more information.
Aww..when I see this status I really feel sorry that he had to go home alone that night. :( Anyway this was what he said, "Told you I'm good." Kay...I was dumbfounded that very second. Still, I can't help but feel that I shouldn't let him walk home alone too often. :P
Lol, I said I would just talk a bit but ended up I rant non-stop! Hmm I wonder why...

*WARNING! Boring contents ahead!*
Hmm..I think I will start from last Friday. :P
Friday was Deepavali (Deepavali is abunehneh day right?), so there was no work. Coincidentally Erin's birthday celebration falls on that particular day as well.
We went to this place called the Play Nation (It was called the Hangout Place, I think?). This place has lots of board games and there are consoles like wii too. :D
I forgot what this monkey game is called. Basically you just have to pull out those sticks and try not to drop any monkeys. Kinda exciting, but it gets boring after a while.
We played the game of life too. I got married with a man, and we actually had a daughter after that! After a while I adopted two boys, wow, that's 3 kids! Was quite worried about how I can get the money for those baby formulas!

I didn't go for the dinner (Sorry Erin) because I went to meet Waltie. He was still pissed that I didn't tell him earlier (He insisted that I didn't intend to tell him, which is not true!) that I won't be free that day. He was also pissed that I can't make up my mind whether or not to meet him after Play Nation and unhappy about the fact I didn't talk to him when I met him. So petty hor?
Anyway we ended up on a bus a few hours later. I was talking to him nicely, and yes he was also replying me nicely too, but you know it was those angry-nice that kind of nice. So I got rather pissed and alighted the bus on my own (I'm sorry :P won't do it again)
I wasn't only pissed over this matter la. It was the fact that he actually had dinner when he knows that I will be skipping dinner to meet him so I could eat with him! Yes, he can argue that it's me who can't make up my mind whether or not to meet him, but hey, I told him at 4+ I'll be meeting him at 6 and he ate at 5+! I mean he's obviously doing it on purpose right?!
Anyway after I alighted he called to scold me and sent me hurtful break up messages after we hung up, blah blah blah...Took cab home then sleep...Oh! I've got a message, let's see...Oh, it looks someone was sorry for those spiteful messages sent earlier. Haha!
Anyway we arranged for a time the next day to meet up and talk it out! (He was late) Well, you can say that he apologised, his way that is. After 'the talk' we went to shop for his new shoes! We tried to look for some cute tees, but no size. :/

So Sunday was family day for Waltie, but he was free to meet up (Yay!). Anyway we went to IKEA!
Our main objective is to go there and eat! I was told that they serve delicious meatballs, well indeed they were! I really love balls, yum yum! I think these balls are $6.50 for 10?? I'm can't really recall. :P I only remember they were yummy!
Waltie ate the salmon dish, it was yummy too. :) I like the potatoes with the gravy. :P Oh ya, those meatballs go great with the jam, I didn't know salty food taste nice with sweet dippings.
Those chicken wings are damn yummy (I realised I can't be food blogger cuz I only know how to use the word yummy -.-). Bleah, anyway the soft drinks there are free flow, $1.80 per cup.
I don't think they did anything much with the potatoes lei, I think they just boiled it. Don't know why so yummy. The gravy for the meatballs also very nice! I dipped my chicken wing in the gravy, haha. :P
I blog quite slow you know? I actually spent about 2 hours writing this blog post!! Hey hey, I had a hard time arranging those pictures ok! Don't come here and say how easy it is, you are better doesn't mean I have to be quick!
P.S. We were spam calling Jia Lei that day, it turns out she switched off her phone and was sleeping the whole day! Damn pig...
