0015 - Story time!!
I have nth better to do....so...here goes...there might some errors....
Both of them were crying, or perhaps wailing in despair. They can neither be consoled nor encouraged, nothing can be done that will assuage their pain. They were in a dimly lit and cold room, this was not the first time they were there. No one in the world would want to step foot into that room, but they had no choice. Let us recount together what had happened that led them to such despondency.
The spectators roared in cheers and screams and laughters that broke the tensed moment. Michael had won, he had secured first place in their school's swimming championship. Jordan, Michael's younger brother, was there in the seat among the rest of the crowd witnessing his brother receiving the trophy. Since that day, Jordan have admired his brother and had also aspired to be a swimmer like Michael. However, he lacked confidence due to his asthmatic condition.
Michael always cared for his brother, he took him to every of his training sessions and often encouraged him. The most well remembered encouragement was he was limited only by himself, not his asthmatic condition. Good things were not meant to be everlasting, Michael was drowned when he had a cramp in the middle of the ocean. How ironic life can be sometimes, a person that is an expert in swimming was drowned.
Jordan was devastated, of course he was not the only one. He had made a vow in front of his brother's tomb, he will help realise his brother's dream which is also his dream. Since then, Jordan had trained hard, hard enough to be qualified into the trials for the shortlisting of the championship.
"You have just one more chance to prove that you can do it!", the swimming coach bellowed at Jordan.
He had failed twice to meet the qualifying time, now he had only one last chance. He knew he was exhausted by the earlier two tries, but he just could not give up. He plunged into the water and started swimming the race of his life, Jordan gave it his all. When he finally completed his lap, he hauled himself up with great difficulty. He had really exhausted himself to the extreme.
"Try again next year." , the coach said.
These were the last words he heard, Jordan had suffered an asthmatic attack and died. He was not able to fulfill the oath he made. Leaving with regret and leaving behind his grief-stricken parents. Both were crying in despair in the dimly lit and cold morgue.
